The purpose of the Homeland Security Network is to provide field-specific networking, and academic and professional resources to support national safety and security.
Develop leadership skills in national safety and security; Share resources and network with members of the community; Gain a high level of appreciation towards the comprehensive nature of national security through virtual meetings and open discussion; Participate in engaging conversations focused on experiences, career guidance, and importance of homeland security in today’s society.

The Homeland Security Network achieved BRONZE standing per the university's Chapter Standards program. Bronze standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.
Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university. Membership will be actively sought during the months of May and December.
