The purpose of the Psychology Club is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship, and to build community among members to advance the science and overall knowledge of the psychology field.
Promote high standards among psychology students, to encourage professional growth and development, and to provide opportunities for members to associate with community members engaged in psychology and its related fields.

The Psychology Club achieved PLATINUM standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Platinum standing demonstrates the highest level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.
Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:
- Administrative and project management
- Organizational knowledge and strategy
- Critical thinking and reflection
- Communication skills
- Leadership and teamwork
The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university. Membership will be actively sought during the months of April and October.
