The purpose of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) is to empower members to make an impact in space exploration, and provide opportunities to interact, network, and learn from leaders in the space industry.

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) achieved SILVER standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Silver standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university, with an interest in space studies. Membership will be actively sought during the months of March and September.
