About This Program
The undergraduate NanoCert in Business Project Management introduces the common terms and concepts used in project management. You will learn about theory, terms, and concepts highlighted in the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), with an emphasis on the key components of successful project planning, time constraints, resources, scope, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
As part of your studies, you develop a Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS) and project plan, helping you understand concepts to monitor and control a project, as well as scope management. You will create a project schedule to include resources and risks. This program acquaints you with what is asked of a project manager in terms of skills and responsibilities, as well as how all the project pieces fit together. You will have the opportunity to practice several tools and techniques through assignments.
