Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS)

The purpose of this student organization is to empower members to make an impact in space exploration, and provide opportunities to interact, network, and learn from leaders in the space industry.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: The development of technical and leadership skills through professional development, conference opportunities, contributions to publications, and resources that assist students in becoming more effective in the space studies field.

Annual membership fee: $0.

Chapter Standing

Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) has achieved GOLD standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Gold standing demonstrates a high level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Leadership Opportunities

Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Eligibility

Membership is available year-round to students and alumni in good academic standing in all degree fields at the university, with an interest in space studies.
