The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) exists to recognize and cultivate student leadership potential through structured development experiences, mentorship, networking, and practical leadership training. It aims to build leaders who make positive contributions in their communities and careers.
The NSLS is the largest and only accredited leadership honor society in the United States. Our local chapter is part of this national organization with over 700 chapters and over 1.5 million existing members.
Visit the NSLS website to learn more.
Benefits include:
Access to leadership development, networking opportunities, and scholarships.
Lifetime membership fee:
$95.
Current APU NSLS members should visit the NSLS Members Area for resources, events, Speaker Broadcasts, Success Networking Team (SNT) groups, and the exclusive job board. This is the central hub for chapter engagement and updates.
Members can serve in a leadership role by facilitating Success Networking Teams (SNTs)—small peer groups where members set goals, support one another, and build accountability. Serving as an SNT facilitator is a recognized leadership position that helps guide peers through their leadership development. For more information, contact [email protected].
We host two membership cycles a year - one in the Fall and one in the Spring. For more information on the next cycle, email [email protected].
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program

After accepting the invitation and paying the membership fee, members complete a series of leadership program requirements to become fully inducted and receive their membership kit.
