The CompTia Association of IT Professionals (CompTia AITP) promotes the information technology field and encourages, supports, and mentors university students as they study the field of information technology.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: Access to exclusive CompTia AITP discounts, awards, scholarships, and the CompTia AITP Career Center.

Annual membership fee: $0.

Process: Visit the CompTia AITP website and join as a student. Choose American Public Univ. / American Military Univ. as the organization name and email your e-receipt to studentaffairs@apus.edu.

Chapter Standing

The CompTia Association of IT Professionals has achieved BRONZE standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Bronze standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Eligibility

If you are a student in our information technology program or a related field, you are eligible for membership. Membership will be actively sought during the months of May & November.
