The CompTia Association of IT Professionals (CompTia AITP) promotes the information technology field and encourages, supports, and mentors university students as they study the field of information technology.
Benefits include: Access to exclusive CompTia AITP discounts, awards, scholarships, and the CompTia AITP Career Center.
Annual membership fee: $0.
Process: Visit the CompTia AITP website and join as a student. Choose American Public Univ. / American Military Univ. as the organization name. Upload a copy of your paid receipt to the Office of Student Affairs to be added to the chapter's roster.
The CompTia Association of IT Professionals has achieved GOLD standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Gold standing demonstrates the highest level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.
