About Regalia

As a member of our community, we want you to be proud of your academic accomplishments and wear your school colors with pride!

Our regalia ordering site is currently under construction.  Please email [email protected] if you are in need of ordering regalia immediately.

All graduates are responsible for purchasing and bringing their cap and gown, as well as any additional regalia they choose to wear, to commencement. You should arrive dressed and ready for your ceremony. A hooding ceremony for master’s candidates will not take place during the ceremony. Ceremony marshals will be available before the ceremony to assist graduates needing help with their academic hood.

Please review the information below to assure you have the appropriate attire at commencement.

  • What’s included: One black gown, cap, and university tassel (not year specific). Master's graduates will also receive a graduate hood. Hoods are lined with the university's official colors as well as degree of study. You will be sent you the correct color based on the program you choose when ordering. Unpack your regalia upon receipt to allow any wrinkles to fall out of the cloth prior to the ceremony. Regalia should not be ironed, but may be steamed if necessary. Black pants or skirt and black shoes are suggested to be worn under regalia.
  • Latin Honors Attire: Latin honors medallions will be available to purchase through our vendor. For more information on Latin honors eligibility, please visit the student handbook’s section on Latin honors.
  • Honor Society Attire: Members of recognized honor societies should purchase their honor society attire directly from the organization. Learn more about student organization regalia, or email [email protected] with questions.
  • Other Attire Options: Military dress uniform may be worn in lieu of regalia. Regalia should not be worn over military dress uniform.
