Learn About Kelley

AA in Early Childhood Care and Education | School of Arts, Humanities and Education

When Kelley decided to earn her associate degree in early childhood care and education, she had no idea just how far her studies would end up taking her. As she progressed through her online classes though, Kelley realized her education helped to provide the unique opportunity for her to start her own daycare.

After graduating from APU, Kelley followed her dreams and opened Little Angels Learning Centers. Now, Kelley enjoys spending her days teaching young children and watching them grow.

How She Did it

Getting Started

Kelley was introduced to APU through her daughter, who graduated from the University with a master’s degree.

Flexibility

Taking classes online allowed Kelley to complete her degree while working full-time and supporting her family.

Affordability

Affordable tuition helped encourage Kelley to go back to school and explore her passion for childhood education.

*The University reserves the right to accept or deny credits according to the policies outlined on the University website. Actual time to completion will be based upon transfer credit evaluation and eligibility.

To be able to do this online and structure it to where I could accommodate my learning as well as my other responsibilities in life—my job, my kids, my family—it is such a better way of learning for me than I would have ever imagined.
