Donate Used Textbooks and Support Literacy Worldwide

What: Donate used text books to an eco-friendly organization that distributes books worldwide to libraries and communities in need of literacy.

What: Military service members are video-recorded reading books to children to create positive emotional connections and a love of reading.

Rise Against Hunger
Hunger doesn't have to exist - let's end it together!
On June 1, 2018, our Active Minds, Alpha Phi Sigma, Delta Mu Delta, Eta Sigma Delta, Golden Key, Nursing Honor Society, Pi Gamma Mu, The Newman Center, READ Book Club, and Sigma Iota Rho co-sponsored the Class of 2018 Rise Against Now service event at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. Over 200 members, officers, guests, and university staff and faculty came together for a great event.
