This course is the study of a series of case studies in supply chain management which demonstrate the application of supply chain principles to optimize organizational outcomes and achieve corporate objectives. Supply chain practitioners often state that theory is fine but case studies are better. But blending the two is the best. Supply chains exist throughout commercial and public sectors. Cases will show the global nature of supply chains and will demonstrate its foundations including SCOR processes such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return and Enable.
