We Support Military Families

APU's military grant covers tuition above the military TA cap of $250 per credit hour for all undergraduate and master's-level programs. The grant is available to all U.S. active-duty servicemembers, National Guard members, and Reservists.

To further minimize education costs, APU also offers these benefits:

  • $0 book costs for all undergraduate and master's-level courses for those eligible for the military grant
  • $0 technology fee for active-duty military servicemembers, National Guard members, and Reserve personnel

The grant is applied automatically for those who are eligible.

See What Online Learning Looks Like

MyClassroom is the streamlined online learning management system for students at American Public University and American Military University, which are part of American Public University System (APUS). MyClassroom connects students to their syllabus, discussion threads with peer students and faculty, the University library, course tools and resources, and a Microsoft Office 365 account featuring Microsoft’s suite of apps. To underscore the convenience and flexibility for which APUS is known, students can access their courses anytime on any device: desktop, tablet, or mobile. Students can log in at myclassroom.apus.edu.
