Meet Panee

Panteha Vaghedi, Student

Master of Science, Environmental Policy and Management

Panee is hoping to transition her career from IT and medicine to the environment so she can do her part to leave a better future for generations to come. Meet Jay

Jay Talbert, Graduate

Bachelor of Arts in Management – Concentration Human Resources Management

Jay wanted to become a better leader, so he enrolled in the management degree program at APU. Currently a senior compliance analyst for one of the nation’s largest multi-employer pension funds, Talbert works with contributing employers, legal counsel, and auditors to ensure the accuracy of incoming contributions. Meet Sarah

Sarah Barz, Student

Master of Education - Teaching, Elementary Education

Sarah has figured out what she wants to be when she “grows up” – after 20 years in the IT industry. She’s returning to college to earn a master’s degree in teaching elementary education. Sarah sees a place for her management skills and IT background in a teaching role; she just views the people she’d be working with as smaller and nicer.

Meet Bill

Bill Bailey, Graduate

Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies

Bill enrolled at APU about a year after leaving the Corps and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Intelligence Studies in February 2009, focusing on Intelligence Analysis. He currently works on a government contract providing best practices and consultation services in the field of emergency management. Read more about Bill >
