Inspired to set an example for her daughter, JoAnna decided it was time to earn her baccalaureate degree. Her passion for programming made APU’s Information Technology degree the perfect fit.

With flexible online classes and professors who understand the busy lives of adult learners, JoAnna was able to excel in her academic journey.

Today, she uses her bachelor’s in information technology to help make the world a better place, applying her knowledge and advanced skill set to create and maintain websites for animal adoption centers.

From the time she was a senior in high school, JoAnna knew she wanted to have a future in programming.

Flexibility

Taking classes online helped JoAnna to earn her degree at her own pace, all while taking care of her young daughter.
