The online Graduate Certificate in Sports Management is designed to be applicable to sports marketers, intercollegiate athletics, professional sports franchises, recreational services, and health and fitness facility settings. The curriculum is guided by an experienced sports industry advisory council so students learn relevant systems and strategies. Courses are taught by sports-industry instructors. Many are leaders in their area of expertise.
From sports law to marketing, promotions and entrepreneurship, students learn the nature and scope of the industry along with best practices for effective sports management in the modern era. The University has incorporated ASEP accreditations into various programs within the Sports Management and Sports & Health Sciences programs.
