Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society


Sigma Beta Delta is an international honor society for students who excel within the management programs. The chapter was officially chartered with the university on August 29, 2012.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: lifetime recognition for outstanding academic achievements, fellowship program, networking opportunities, annual lifetime organization newsletter, and a Bloomberg Business Week subscription.

Lifetime membership fee: $50 (grants a membership certificate, a lapel pin, an organization decal, and a current issue of the newsletter, Aspirations)

Chapter Standing

Sigma Beta Delta has achieved BRONZE standing, per the university's Chapter Standards program. Bronze standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.

Eligible students who meet the criteria below will receive an invitation to join during the months of January & July. If you believe you are eligible and do not receive an invitation, email We will not accept applications outside the membership drive time-frame.


  • Active bachelor's or master's level student enrolled in one of the following programs at the university; hospitality management, management, management and program acquisition, retail management, reverse logistics management, sports management, and transportation and logistics management
  • Completed six semester hours in your current program (and at least one course in the past 12 months)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Alumni can join retroactively if conferred in the past year
  • Has complied with university policies on academic integrity
