Biography - Valerie E Davis


Dr. Valerie E. Davis served as a senior intelligence professional and educator in the US Air Force until her retirement in 2008. Her assignments in the Intelligence Community were at Theater, Major Commands, wing and national levels. She has worked in many areas in the intelligence community for over 23 years. She has worked as Senior Military Advisor to US Embassy in Kosovo managing the production and dissemination of HUMINT and strategic level intelligence reports vital to DoD and other national agencies. Dr. Davis worked on strategic intelligence for policy makers during critical and tense periods in the Balkans. She worked as an operational intelligence professional primarily regarding counterterrorism, security assistance and collection management. Dr. Davis worked with intelligence, law enforcement, and military officials within the federal government agencies as well as with country and local governments on intelligence and security programs.

She served as Command Intelligence Manager for U.S. Air Force providing leadership, direction and guidance to the largest and most complex Air Force training system for all intelligence career fields and working jointly with all four branches of military service on training intelligence service members. Dr. Davis was instrumental in establishing the first-ever Air Force Information Warfare Tactics Squadron fostering synergy between multi-disciplined information operations and warfare efforts.

Her undergraduate degree is in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University in 2001, her Master degrees in Public Administration and Human Resources Development from Webster University in 2004. Dr. Davis has been awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy in Business Administration with Specialization in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University in 2011. Dr. Davis has taught courses in critical thinking, critical analysis, and human resources development in online classrooms for colleges and universities including University of Maryland University College Europe and University of Phoenix.
