Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Friends Club

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT), and Friends chapter promotes awareness, education, and diversity among the university's community members. GLBT and Friends support those of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender sexual orientation, helping members to meet the social, cultural, health, and political advocacy needs to become community models of the future.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: Working together to create a safe place that facilitates dialogue, builds community, and works towards gaining visibility through active leadership, pride, and campus involvement.

Chapter Standing

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Friends Club has achieved SILVER standing, per the university's Chapter Standards Program. Silver standing demonstrates a notable level of chapter involvement and denotes excellence in chapter leadership and member engagement.



Leadership Opportunities

Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

  • Leadership and teamwork

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one.
