This course studies the use of GPS, RFID and bar coding technology used to track and trace products through the forward supply chain and the reverse logistics process. The student will study the complex issues of data synchronization facing today’s reverse logistics manager.

  4. Evaluate technological tools, such as cloud based technology, used to access and analyze data to streamline the Reverse Logistics process.
  5. Analyze the value technology delivers in Reverse Logistics.
  6. Describe how Reverse Logistics has evolved over the past decade as a result of technology.
  7. Explain the challenges associated with technology used in Reverse Logistics.
  8. Predict the future role of technology in Reverse Logistics.
