After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:
LO-1 Describe the major types and sources of indoor and outdoor air pollutants.
LO-2 Compare and contrast air quality index values from one area of the county to your home.
LO-3 Assess the lessons of the “Tragedy of the Commons” to current air quality problems.
LO-4 Analyze the impact of air pollutants on human health and ecological systems.
LO-5 Analyze the influence of air pollution regulations and control on the economy.
LO-6 Assess the effectiveness of current air quality regulations and international treaties and agreements in limiting the degradation of air resources
LO-7 Analyze air pollution source control technologies for particulate matter.
