Undergraduate Book Grant

An APUS Book Grant automatically provides required texts and other reading at no charge to all undergraduate students who are earning academic credit. Students just need to register for courses and submit payment for tuition. APUS is transitioning to course materials in electronic format. If the material is not yet available electronically or students are stationed overseas, the printed textbooks and other reading matter will be shipped directly to them at no charge.

EBooks
APUS is transitioning to using books in electronic format as they become available from the publishers. This transition will make book delivery easier, faster, and reduce material and delivery costs allowing APUS to maintain the current registration costs for our students. Currently, we have about 60 eBooks for various courses. A majority of the course materials will be electronic within four years, but print and alternative media will continue to be available for those deployed overseas.

Returning Books
Undergraduate students who drop or withdraw from a course and do not register for the same course in the next semester are required to return all course materials issued through the AMU Book Grant. Failure to do so will result in penalties.

Any student dropping or withdrawing from a course must send an email to books@apus.edu with a student ID, course number, semester session, and date of withdrawal. Students are responsible for returning the books to MBS at their expense. Students should refer to the "Sending Books to MBS" section in the Student Handbook for specific book return instructions.
