Active Duty Army Tuition Assistance

In order to obtain tuition assistance, please follow the steps below:

If you have not created a Go Army Ed user account, please visit www.goarmyed.com to create an account for yourself. If you need assistance with setting up your GoArmyEd account please contact your ESO or your Commanding Officer.

The APUS and GoArmyEd sites are not linked. You will need to first register for your course(s) at APUS through your APUS student campus to reserve a spot in the course. At the payment screen select ‘100 percent’ TA as your payment method. Now login to GoArmyEd and register for the same course(s), this will trigger the TA payment to automatically come to APUS.

How to look for and register for a class on GoArmyEd:

Example: ENGL101

• Log into Homepage
• Look for "My Virtual Education Center" box
• Click on "Enroll or Drop from a Course" 
• Click on "Request TA & Enroll in Course" 
• Scroll to bottom of page and click on "Account Info Verified"
• The "Select Classes to Add" screen should be displayed 
• Make sure the "Select Term dates" are correct for the course start date you wish to enroll in.
• Click on “Search” which is the green button underneath “find classes” (Do not enter class # here)
  This will bring you to the Search Class Schedule page.
• Under Class Search Criteria: Enter the following info: School (APU) > Subject (ENGL) > Catalog # (101) > Class Type must be "TA" >
  This is all the info you need to enter on this page
• Scroll to bottom and Click Search 
• Look for class/session/start date 
• Click on top of the check mark next to the appropriate class, this is how you select to enroll in that particular course 
• Click on "Proceed to Step 2 of 3"
• Confirm class
• Click on "Process Enrollment"
