  • Each Reservist branch has a slightly different process for TA
  • The Air Force Reserve has a special option in addition to traditional Tuition assistance called the Air Force Reserve Deferred Payment Option 
  • However, the first 4 steps are the same as the process outlined earlier. Print that page for reference:

    1. Apply and get accepted to our university
    2. Complete the orientation and print orientation certificate
    3. Register for classes
    4. Meet with your ESO (Education Service Officer)
  • Consult your Reservist portals for the forms and information you need to complete the remaining steps

  • Fax or e-mail a scanned copy of your approved, completed TA form

    • Fax: 304-724-3781 or toll-free 866-755-8763
    • E-mail to ta@apus.edu
    • If the Ed Center faxes the paperwork for you, please confirm that it has been completed
    • Do not send the Application for Tuition Assistance; this is not the approved form
