Managing Multiple Sources of Aid
- We encourage all students to apply for any scholarship or aid resource that can help you with your educational costs
- You must inform the Financial Aid Office of all your financial aid sources beyond Federal Student Aid
- This includes aid sources such as Military Tuition Assistance, Employer Vouchers, outside scholarships, state grants, vocational rehabilitation, or agency funding
- Failure to inform the Financial Aid Office could result in a loss or reduction of Federal Student Aid
- If this occurs after all of your aid has been disbursed, portions of your Federal loans may have to be returned to the lender, causing you to repay a balance to APUS
- The best way to notify us of any outside scholarships or other types of non-Federal aid is to e-mail Financial Services. Include the following in your email to us:
- Type of aid you are expecting to receive
- Attach a copy of the letter or notice from the company or agency
- The amount of the scholarship or aid source
