Commencement Weekend is Almost Here! Get ready! The Class of 2013 Commencement will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center located in National Harbor, Md. Graduates from the Aug. 15, 2012; Nov. 15, 2012; Feb. 15, 2013; and May 15, 2013, conferrals are eligible to attend the ceremonies. We will host a graduation ceremony for master's degree candidates at 10:30 a.m. and an undergraduate ceremony for associate and bachelor's degree candidates at 2:30 p.m.
As a precursor to the ceremonies, the university will also host several events on Friday, June 14, 2013, to engage graduates and alumni. | Time | Location | Attendees | Details | | 8:00 a.m. | Crescent Ridge Adult Health Care Center | Class of 2013 and their guests, staff, and faculty | Join us for our third annual commencement service event, where we will provide landscaping and bus detailing, and play bingo with center participants. | | 9:00 a.m. | Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center | Class of 2013 and their guests, staff, and faculty | Due to overwhelming response, the university will host an additional service event. We have partnered with Stop Hunger Now and attendees will assist in assembling 10,000 food packages to send to those in need all over the world. | | Determined by chapter leadership | Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center | University-recognized student and alumni organization members* | Chapter meetings, planned and organized by chapter leadership, will serve as an opportunity for members to interact with each other.
