Our Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy degree benefits students by helping them to develop their comprehension, analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and effective communications skills. The program encourages the exchange of knowledge and openness to developing new ideas. The curriculum closely examines the key influential thinkers and theoretical movements in Eastern and Western Culture including myth, ritual, and issues of ethics and morality. From Socrates to Nietzsche, Confucius to Aquinas, this undergraduate philosophy degree strives to uncover and teach the wisdom of intellectual thought, behavior, and ethical reasoning.
Many of the skills acquired through this online degree can be applied to a broad array of professional and academic pursuits. It also serves as an interdisciplinary study for students contemplating advanced degrees in other majors or who want to enhance their critical thinking skills in preparation for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Graduate Record Exam (GRE), and the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT).
