The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (IT) provides high quality educational opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in a broad range of fields that support our computer/information-based society and economy. The curriculum focuses on problem-solving skills and techniques needed to provide computer-based and web-based IT solutions in our global ecommerce based economy. The explosive growth of the Internet and IT has generated a significant need for IT professionals and consequently for education in IT. Students completing the IT program can apply for a broad range of IT related positions, such as: web developer, web publisher, programmer analyst, systems analyst, database analyst, database designer, .NET developer, .NET architect, information systems analyst, project manager, and information technology manager.
