As part of its popular and highly respected history program, the University offers a Graduate Certificate in European history which explores the rich antiquities of the medieval church, the rise of the Papacy, and the Renaissance. This graduate-level certificate program also examines the growth of humanism, prominent city-states, the monarchies of the Holy Roman Empire, religious wars, and the Catholic Reformation. By examining the early influences European history, students learn how these fascinating events shaped the economies, industries and cultures of the modern world.
This unique certificate also emphasizes the impact European History had on the United States, Great Britain, Japan and Germany during World War II and how it differentiated itself from most other regions of the world. Courses are facilitated entirely online allowing working professionals to fit this unique and engaging graduate certificate program into their busy lives.
