As an online educational leader, the University understands the power of the Word Wide Web and the information economy. The Undergraduate Certificate in Enterprise Web Applications is offered entirely online and it provides students with the flexibility to complete a career-relevant education while developing their careers. This program was specifically designed to teach students the theories and skills needed to design, develop, and implement robust enterprise Web applications. Students improve their ability to utilize Object Oriented Programming (OOP), HTML, JavaScript, Java (J2SE and J2EE), as well as e-commerce development solutions.
Students learn the overall process for building, testing and deploying functional Java applications. This interdisciplinary program complements the University’s popular IT program and extensive learning community. Students interact online with like-minded peers and expert instructors who are dedicated to optimizing enterprise development across the Web. Many professors base their instruction on their extensive experience developing and managing Web applications in Fortune 500 and government organizations. Their breadth of knowledge, combined with the University’s alignment with industry advisory councils, ensures students are exposed to the latest practices and technology that are shaping the future of Web development.
