Terrorism represents complex challenges to the national security of sovereign nations throughout the world. As part of its unique and highly-regarded interdisciplinary counter terrorism curriculum, the University offers an Associate of Arts in Counter Terrorism Studies. The associate degree program is facilitated entirely online, giving students the flexibility to fit quality education into their busy lives. Students are introduced to the challenges and complexities associated with counter terror efforts that span the national security spectrum in its current emergency state.
Students explore fundamental drivers of terrorism, key terror organizations, and the systems in place used to predict and deter short- and long-term threats. The online Associate of Arts in Counter Terrorism Studies serves as an integrative platform for students wishing to continue their education in this dynamic and rapidly changing field.
