Online Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Development
This degree emphasizes factors related to both healthy and unhealthy development in children and families. Focus is placed on exploring the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children from birth to adolescence, and helps to prepare graduates for working with children in a variety of settings.
In addition, the program focuses on family member interaction and communication, internal and external influences on the family that affect human growth and development of the individual within family contexts, and knowledge and skills applicable to providing education and support to immediate and cross-generational family units.
