As a leader in online education, the University offers an impressive portfolio of career-relevant certificates that professionals are seeking, including the Undergraduate Certificate in IT project Management. The certificate program is offered entirely online, which enables professionals to fit career-relevant education into their busy schedules and to learn in a flexible Web environment. Through this unique certificate students develop essential program management skills to manage complex enterprise projects. The program examines effective strategic planning, risk assessment, and business systems analysis. Students learn fundamental processes for integrating teams and harnessing resources, identifying scope and adapting to change, managing budgets and expectations, and guiding the project to completion with qualitative results. An undergraduate student, regardless of his or her field of study, may enroll in the Undergraduate Certificate of IT Project Management.
The certificate was designed to help students meet requirements aligned with industry roles such as IT project manager, IT manager, e-business project manager, Web content manager, SEO analyst, IT cost analyst, and IT planner. Students interact with the university’s expansive community of IT and management professionals, many who return to higher learning to earn additional certifications.
