Preparation Guide

Attend a Virtual Career Fair Information Session
Before each fair, we offer information sessions where you can learn what to expect at the fair, how to best prepare, and how to make meaningful connections with recruiters. Attendees will also receive an instructional video demonstrating the technical components of the VCF. Come ready to learn, explore, and ask questions! Current students can register for an information session by visiting the Virtual Career Fair webpage within the ecampus.

Do Your Research
Before the career fair date, you can access a list of all the employers scheduled to be in attendance. We recommend you do your homework – research attending employers and make a list of the questions you want to ask recruiters.

Get Personalized Help
Career Services has a staff of highly trained career coaches prepared to give you the personalized guidance you need for this event. You can request a complimentary one-hour virtual session with a career coach. Using a secured screen-sharing system, coaches can walk you through how to research employers, will look over your resume and your introduction statement, or help you with any other career fair related topic.
