MILH318 - The French and Indian War
View Academic Calendar
The French and Indian War, otherwise known as the Seven Years War, was fought in North America between the years 1754 and 1763. The British and their American colonists fought against the French and the Indians initially over territorial disputes of the Ohio River Valley. This resulted in one of the world’s first global wars, and consequently set the stage for the foundations of the American Revolution. This course will focus on the beginnings of the war, both domestic and international, military events, and the consequences of the war.
