
Dr. Bader has over 14 years of experience conducting research in environmental and geological science, consulting, and teaching. She is currently employed at Walcoff Technologies at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, where she writes National Environmental Policy Act documents for Department of Defense program actions and testing-related activities.
At WSMR, she conducts research to determine the baseline conditions of the physical, biological and cultural resources within the proposed project areas, and evaluates the effects of project activities on these resources.
Her past research interests have focused on remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with heavy metals, nitrate, and organic compounds. Dr. Bader also worked as a research environmental scientist at U.S. EPA, where she applied permeable reactive barrier technology to remediation of ground water contaminated with landfill leachate.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 1983, and a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1997. She resides in El Paso, Texas.
