Daniel  Hladky

Dr. Daniel Hladky (Dan) has been a professor with several online and resident academic institutions including American Military University (AMU) since 2001. During that time ,he has taught both graduate and undergraduate classes in various disciplines including psychology, management, and human resources development. His academic background includes a PhD from Northcentral University in Business Administration and Human Resources Management, a Master of Arts (MA) from Webster University in Human Resources Development (HRDV), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the State University of New York. Through analysis of variance (ANOVA) his doctoral dissertation compared alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures in the federal government to traditional litigation processes to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of both programs over a specific study period.

In addition to teaching, he is currently the training and education coordinator for a large banking and finance firm with responsibility for Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico. At present, he manages 73 direct reports who teach mandatory state required curriculum to newly hired financial services representatives. In his prior life, he served in the US Army and spent the majority of a 23-year career in the human resources management field serving as a recruiter, career counselor, and senior retention manager, working daily with service members and their families assisting them in meeting their career and education goals. He transitioned from the military, June 1999 at which time he began a second career in corporate America.

Living with his family in Sarasota, FL, about 2 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, affords Dr Hladky the opportunity to enjoy boating, fishing, and scuba diving in his spare time. Additionally, he is an avid runner and enjoys traveling whenever time permits. At present, he is currently authoring a textbook entitled"The Comprehensive Guide to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)". Here at AMU/APUS, he consistently strives to assist the students of the university in fulfilling their academic needs and professional goals through a comprehensive curriculum that combines traditional processes with new and innovative learning methods focusing on the adult learner and current real world issues.
