Eddie  Green

Professor Green has 25 years of combined professional experience in security management, private security/investigative consulting, law enforcement, corrections, and military service. He enforced state and federal laws governing the protection of sensitive resources ranging from nuclear weapons to highly classified computer systems. Prior professional experience include security and law enforcement operations full-time with the United States Air Force, Defense Information Systems Agency, US Nuclear Command and Control System, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Homeland Security.

Holds a Master of Arts Degree in Security Management from Webster University, Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, and an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force.

Managed every facet of law enforcement and security operations to include computer security, criminal investigations, anti-terrorism, force protection, corrections, customs, counterintelligence, physical and personnel security at facilities located throughout the world. Mr. Green has been an American Public System University adjunct instructor since 1999. He specializes in teaching and developing security management and criminal justice related courses. He is skilled in conflict resolution and protecting companies as a result of work-force downsizing.

Led numerous Security Test and Evaluations of facilities and computer systems, which processed and stored sensitive classified and unclassified information. He also managed firewalls, intrusion detection systems, Computer Security Incident Response Centers and various security auditing tools to ensure confidentiality, availability and integrity of data and systems. He conducted automated risk analysis and vulnerability assessments to ensure normal security operations and effective emergency and contingency planning were in effect.

Managed information and industrial security programs at various high-level Department of Defense and contractor locations. He also conducted numerous inspector general investigations and preliminary inquiries. He provided executive protection for the President of the United States, First Lady, Secretary of State, National Security Advisor, general flag officers and foreign dignitaries.

Professional affiliations include Information System Audit and Control Association and American Society for Industrial Security. He is a Certified Information Security Manager.
