I lived in San Antonio, Texas for 12 years. While there I taught as an adjunct instructor at San Antonio College for over eleven years, and I did the same at St. Mary's University for five years. I've moved back to the place where I've always been happiest, the Ocean State of Rhode Island, and have been living here for about four years. My position as an online instructor has been my full time vocation now for over 6 years. As to academic activity, I am a volunteer oral historian for the Rhode Island Historical Society library focusing on ethnic and popular musicians who have made an impact in Rhode Island and beyond. I have also written and published articles about popular music history, and I'm a professional musician as well.
I received my Master's Degree in American History from the City University of New York at Lehman College in the Bronx, and I earned my Bachelor's degree at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. And, yes, I've got a third: I have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York.
