Bob Burger graduated from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, with a B. S. Ed., majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. He obtained his master’s degree in biology from BGSU as well. He has taught at Wright State University and Clark State Community College in Ohio, and Life University and Lanier Technical College in Georgia. Courses taught include a wide variety of biology classes and a large number of anatomy and physiology classes. He has received outstanding teacher awards in both Ohio and Georgia. So far, his teaching experience spans over 45 years and he has plans to continue for many more.
On the non-academic side, Bob has been very active in many team and individual sports. Currently, he concentrates on biking and hiking. While at Life University, he started the Life Cycling Club and became its first advisor. His biggest accomplishment in hiking is having hiked up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.
