Jeremy Schwehm received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/English from Louisiana State University, a Master of Arts degree in Adult Education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. Dr. Schwehm’s expertise is in adult learner involvement, distance education, and community college leadership.
Prior to joining the faculty at APUS, Dr. Schwehm was the program director for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Georgia and facilitated doctoral level courses in Adult Education at UGA. He has also held leadership positions at a large community college and within corporate training.
Dr. Schwehm has contributed to the scholarly literature on community college transfer through various conference presentations. Additionally, he carries out review activities for several higher education publications. He is a member of the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education, The Association for the Study of Transfer Students, and the University of Georgia Lifelong Learning Association.
