Dr. Gayle Dodson earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Western Michigan University, a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University and her Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Applied Technology, Training and Development. Her dissertation study focused on the transfer of learning.
Dr. Dodson has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Education and Learning Technologies both online and on the ground since 2001. She has extensive experience in the education field as a manager, high school principal, program coordinator and special education teacher. She has been an educational consultant in Morocco and Tunisia. Throughout her career, she has helped teachers and trainers improve their effectiveness.
Dr. Dodson has been a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the American Society of Training and Development, the International Society for Technology Education and the Michigan Association of Computer Users and Learners. She currently resides in the Texas with her husband, Charles. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling internationally.
