Northern California is where I call home. I am a second generation Californian and love the proximity of ocean, mountains, deserts, snow and great vineyards all in a short driving radius from where I live.
I graduated from college with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Educational Administration. In my 32 years of public education I have been a teacher, asst. principal, high school principal, and district office administrator.
Fortunately for me, I was able to use my GI bill to assist me in graduating from college. I am a Vietnam Vet and served for 13 months in various part of that country. I was in Ordnance and EOD.
Upon retirement I work with two other universities as a mentor/supervisor for intern and student teachers. I have taught a blended on-line course for teachers aspiring to be administrators and thoroughly enjoy working with schools seeking ways to improve their educational program for their students.
When I am not involved in educational pursuits, my wife and I enjoy traveling, camping, cruising, gardening and sports. We are avid SF 49er and SF Giants fans. We have two sons who both live close by with their significant girlfriends and their dogs.
