Grady L Batchelor

Dr. Grady Batchelor is currently president of the Winston County Industrial Development Authority, Inc., a project management office for economic development, and the Cooperative District of Winston County, Inc., a transorganizational corporation tasked with overseeing large-scale economic development projects that are too complex for any single member organization to undertake separately. Additionally, Dr. Batchelor is president of Grady Batchelor & Associates, Inc., an award-winning management and marketing consulting firm. Previously, Dr. Batchelor served as County Commissioner, Chairman of the Corridor X/Interstate 22 Commission, Chairman of the Northwest Alabama Workforce Development Council, College Professor, and University Administrator. Dr. Batchelor also served 9.5 years in the U.S. Air Force in the intelligence field and as a technical training instructor. Lastly, Dr. Batchelor currently volunteers with the Winston County Sheriff's Office.

Dr. Batchelor's education includes an A.A.S. in Intelligence and Imagery Analysis and an A.A.S. in Instructor Technology and Military Science from the Community College of the Air Force, a BS in Management of Human Resources and a M.A. in Management from Bellevue University, a M.B.A. from Trident University (formerly Touro University International), and a Doctor of Management with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Change from Colorado Technical University. In addition, Dr. Batchelor is a Certified Management Consultant (C.M.C.)* through the Institute of Management Consultants USA, a Certified Manager (C.M.) through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers, and a Fellow of the Strategic Planning Society.
