Hello,
My name is Dr. Renzi,
I have spent the last 18 years working in various aspects of criminal justice including corrections, courts, law enforcement, juvenile justice and the private sector. Much of my career has been spent working with mentally ill offenders, sex offenders, drug offenders, dually diagnosed, and sociopaths both in and out of the prison setting. During my career I have provided outpatient treatment to sexual offenders and sexual predators, inpatient treatment to drug offenders and delinquents, as well as, helping local law enforcement agencies profile sexual crimes. I also provide psychological evaluations for new hires with local police and fire departments. I began teaching at the college level 11 years ago and am currently the University Department Chair for Criminal Justice for Keiser University.
I have a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, as well as, a doctorate degree from the University of Maimonides, now located in Italy. In addition I am a Florida Department of Law Enforcement Certified Instructor.
I am a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, the Florida Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, the American Association of Correctional and Forensic Psychology, the Florida Counsel of Crime and Delinquency, the American Board of Clinical Sexology, the Cengage Criminal Justice Advisory Board, the Atlantic Law Academy Advisory Board and the Daytona Beach Law Enforcement Foundation.
I have been very fortunate to work with outstanding individuals in this field from Judges, Police Chiefs, Wardens, therapists and all of those who give of themselves to work in this field for the purpose of helping others. I look forward to working with all of you in hopes that you will find the same rewards in your future in this field.
