Biography - Jonathan W Stewart

Professor Jonathan Stewart has over 12 years combined military and law enforcement experience. He is currently a tactical operator on the Emergency Response Team, United States Secret Service. He has conducted national news interviews and numerous VIP briefings. Before his law enforcement career, he spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps where he deployed overseas with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. Professor Stewart hopes to integrate his years of law enforcement and military experience into the classroom and make it as applicable as possible.

Professor Stewart has a M.S. in Strategic Leadership from Mountain State University and a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in History from the University of Maryland University College. Professor Stewart lives in the D.C. area with his wife and two children.
