Scott Peckenpaugh retired from the US Army in 2004, after serving 22 years in a variety of Special Forces assignments around the world. While in the military, he earned a BS in History from Campbell University, and a MA in Security Management from Webster University. Since joining the private sector, Scott has been involved in developing, assessing, and managing high risk security programs at chemical, nuclear, and manufacturing facilities. Scott is an active member of ASIS International, and Vice Chairman of Chapter 159. In 2004, he obtained security management board certification through ASIS as a Certified Protection Professional, CPP. Currently, Scott manages the corporate security and emergency preparedness programs for a global manufacturing and research development company with headquarters in the Research Triangle Park area of Durham, North Carolina.
