Biography - Ronald E Zimmerman


Ron Zimmerman earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Sacramento. After earning his BA in Economics, Ron earned a secondary social science teaching credential and has been teaching a variety of high school courses ever since. In 2002, Ron helped open a new charter high school that utilizes problem based learning with extensive use of online learning tools. In 2009, Ron earned is MS in Education with an emphasis in Online Teaching and Learning from California State University, East Bay.

Currently, Ron teaches in an early college program that allows high school seniors to spend their final year of high school at a community college. In addition to teaching American Government and economics, Ron advises students on career options and college choices.

Ron lives in beautiful far Northern California with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys fly fishing and mountain biking and visiting a new National Park each summer with his family.
