
Dr. Bagwell received his Ph.D. from Saint Louis University. He holds four degrees in five fields of study including Policy Analysis, Speech Communication, History, Political Science, and Radio and Television.
Bagwell has a long established career in the field of Information Technology. He has consulted to Eli Lilly, BJC Health Care, Anheuser Busch Companies, Archdiocese of St. Louis, Behavioral Health Alternatives (Wood River, Illinois), American Bottoms Waste Water Treatment Facility, Deutsche Financial Services, Munger Company, Graybar Electric Company, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Institute, Mallinkrodt Medical and Peavey Barge. Dr. Bagwell has also worked for the Defense Mapping Agency (National Geophysical Intelligence Agency) MetLife Health Care Management and Tandy Computers.
Bagwell has taught at The American University, University of Maryland, Howard University, Webster University, and University of Phoenix. He has been a guest lecturer at the Tel-Aviv University lecture series on Political Theory.
Bagwell was a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2004 and 2010 in Illinois' largest congressional district.
