Biography - Michele J Monaco

My name is Dr. Michele Monaco, and I reside in a small town in the suburbs of Philadelphia, a town called Collegeville.
My undergraduate studies were complete at Lock Haven University, where I studied health science with a concentration in Athletic Training and Sports Management. From there I passed my Athletic Training Certification Exam (NATABOC) exam and became a licenced athletic trainer. I then shifted gears and went to graduate school in South Florida, at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens where I studied Sports Administration. Simulataneously as I was in graduate school, I was working for the Florida Marlin's in their Sales and Promotion office. I then moved back up north to Pennsylvania and progressed into teaching at the collegiate level. I completed my doctorate in 2009 at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Athletic Training. My husband and I have 3 wonderful and very active girls that play hard, study hard and keep up working hard!
