Biography - Jonah J Romanitch

I am excited to be teaching this on-line course at American Public University. My background lies in dealing with small businesses and family run companies. I currently work for Brunswick Corporation which is a $6 billion dollar company that makes anything from bowling balls to 50ft Yachts. My current position is as the tri-state area field rep in the northeast dealing with over 170 dealers/distributors. I act as a liaison between the corporate executives and our dealerships.

One of my greatest passions is serving in the U.S. Military Reserves with the United States Coast Guard. I am currently a Chief Petty Officer E-7 serving at a Motor Lifeboat Station on the South Shore of Long Island. I currently have 10 years serving in the military reserves and will continue to serve in the future.

My college degrees (BA and MBA) are in Business and Sociology with minors in Economics. I also have an Executive Certificate from Notre Dame in Negotiation and my Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Villanova University. Both disciplines appeal to problem-solvers who are interested in how people and problems are looked at through a business mindset. I am proud to teach Management at CUNY School of Professional Studies as well.
